Sizzle Updates
Riders who have requested stabling have been accommodated for Sat stalls. Masterson Station Park only allows straw bedding so please do not bring shavings. Riders must strip their stalls on Sun or show management will be charged an extra fee or forced to do the mucking. Thanks for helping us out!
It's not called Summer Sizzle for nothing! Please be smart when you pack and include sunscreen, plenty of liquids, buckets for the horses, and everything else you can think of to make the day more enjoyable. We would like to pass along some hints from the Atlanta Olympics:
Alternate plain water and Powerade at frequent intervals (Gatorade has more heat-producing sugar content); and keep a wet cloth in a bag in your cooler for wiping your face and neck. Another quick cooling tip is to wipe yourself with face cleansing pads like OxyPads or the like. The alcohol is a quick refresher!
And a little alcohol sponge bath for Trigger is also appreciated!
There will be good eats on grounds, so plan to join us at the food stand!
Schedule Notes All riders will jump stadium before XC. At each level, the HT riders will do stadium before the CT riders. Riders with multiple rides will be allowed to ride stadium out of order if needed. Please confirm that you are scheduled in the correct division, especially as regards HT vs CT! Notify the secretary via email ASAP if there is an error.
Course maps for the Mini-trial divisions are now available. We will upload revised maps later with times/distances after the TD has confirmed the courses. Times/distances will be posted at the start box and the show office also, and map copies will be provided at the show.
