| Additional Information | |
Kentucky Classic follows a very big Hunter/Jumper show again this year, and consequently the first night we have access to stabling will be Wed, Aug 30. Please make your travel plans accordingly.
An entry that is faxed is not a complete entry and will not be processed at all until we receive a postmarked complete entry with fees and paperwork attached. We accept entries strictly by postmark and will not "save" spots for these entries to avoid waitlisting them. Thanks!
The FEI levels (CIC** and CIC*) will have horse inspections as part of the competition. There will be Arrival Exams conducted beginning Thursday afternoon, and completed before Dressage on Friday. You will need to present either Passport or flu vaccination records as per the rules, but will not engage in a "formal" jog. There will be a second Horse Inspection Sunday morning before the Stadium test, which is in fact a Formal Presentation of horse and rider. Please plan accordingly.
We will host the Area VIII BN and Nov Championships for 2006. You may find complete information on qualifications at the Area VIII site. Please be sure to indicate your qualifying events and division correctly on the entry form.
Extra volunteers are always welcome, especially at events on holiday weekends! If riders would like to volunteer, we will be happy to work around your ride times. Just click on the Volunteers link in the left toolbar and we will get back to you shortly. Thanks for helping!
Please note: The Dressage tests for every division of a HT Level will be the same. All Intermediate HT 2006 Int Test B Std; all Prel 2006 Prel Test B Small; all Trng 2006 Trng Test B Sm; all Novice 2006 Nov Test B Sm; all BN 2006 BN Test B Small. The Intermediate Dressage will be ridden in the Standard Arena. Sorry for the confusion!
Attention: Competitors!
Many of our spectators are new to the sport of Eventing, and we want them to know you as more than just a number.
Is your horse an off-the-track-Thoroughbred? Is this your first or your horse’s first event? Is this a new horse, or perhaps your first Training Level event together? Maybe it is your birthday, or you are really proud of something you and your horse have accomplished this year. We want to know about your profession, your school/college, spouse/children, etc.
Please email some background information to our announcer Cyndi Kurth with Subject Line “Rider Bio-(add name of event entered)”. Please complete these no later than Tue, Aug 29. This info will not be shared with anyone else! |
