Kentucky Classique will NOT be held in 2010 due to date conflicts with the WEG. We will be back in force for 2011 and hope to see you then!

Results for the Chronicle of the Horse/USEA Adult Team Challenge for the Central Region We share the Park this year with a very large dog show held at the Campgrounds, so we recommend that you reserve camping spots very early! Show Bill Open Date is Jul 14! Since some of the events in the area have been clobbered by nasty weather, we are leaving our entries open through Mon, Aug 17. All paperwork and fees for these late entries must have arrived by then. Hope that gives some of you another option for a final go before the AECs!

Beginner Novice Novice Training Preliminary Intermediate CIC* Kentucky Classique will offer XC Schooling immediately following the end of competition on Sunday, Aug 30. We anticipate registration will begin at 2P at the Show Office, and the course must be cleared by 5:30P. Riders will need to sign a Release, pick up a schooling pinney and pay $35 at the window. Please do not leave the grounds without returning your pinney. Thanks! The following divisions will be offered, unless the numbers are too few to support the division: CIC* - One Star Intl Horse Trials (FEI) OI Open Intermediate - all riders and horses qualified for level. OP Open Preliminary - all riders and horses qualified for level. JYOP Junior Young Rider Prel - all riders ages 14-21 [born 1988-1995] OT Open Training - all riders and horses qualified for level. TR Training Rider - rider cannot have completed 3 or more events at Prel in past 24 months. ON Open Novice - all riders and horses qualified for level. NR Novice Rider - rider cannot have completed 3 or more events at Trng in past 24 months. OBN Open Beginner Novice - all riders and horses eligible. BNR Beginner Novice Rider - rider cannot have completed 3 or more events at Nov in past 24 months. NOTE - USEA Rulebook Appendix III lists these divisions. The USEA definition of completed for the Rider divs is stated as "having completed the entire HT, and ...having completed the XC test with no more than one disobedience." Additional subdivisions based on Draw (A, B, etc) or Jr/Sr may be made as warranted by entries. Volunteers for this event are always welcome! We will be glad to work around your ride times. Many of our spectators are new to the sport of Eventing, and we want them to know you as more than just a number. Is your horse an off-the-track-Thoroughbred? Is this your first or your horse’s first event? Is this a new horse, or perhaps your first Training Level event together? Maybe it is your birthday, or you are really proud of something you and your horse have accomplished this year.
