The riders in the Friday Jumping Derby are not included in the Searchable ride times, since they do not have assigned jumping times. Please refer to the Derby Chart for more information.
Check Entry Status for the list of entries received as of Sep 09. The ride times are online, so this list will no longer be maintained.
No more room in ON grounds stabling! We may receive scratches which will allow some of you to move to ON grounds tent stabling. Mark your entry if you would like to be considered. These spaces will be assigned in order of postmark.
If you have questions or problems reading the file, you may notify the secretary via the Feedback link on the website or by email.
This year's event takes place on the same weekend as the Ryder Cup Golf Tournament in Louisville, so we suggest you book your rooms as soon as possible.
Open Date for Entries: Aug 5!
All entries must be received by the secretary by Sep 2. Mark you calendar!
Shavings for Sale
Initial bedding is not provided, but we will have baled shavings for sale on the show grounds. Riders stabled off-grounds should plan to provide their own bedding also. The price is $6/bale. Someone will be available to help you Thu 9A-5P, Fri 8A-6P, Sat 8A-5P. If you would like to pre-order shavings, you may do so through the secretary. We will mark them and have them ready when you arrive! Mail advance payments to the address in the Omnibus.
The Jumping Derby on Friday will be run as a USEA Test. The stadium courses will be different from the event courses for the HT, and will build from BN up through Prel during the day. You may enter consecutive levels if you choose.
The judging will be based on the Hunter model, from 1 to a perfect score of 100. Points will be awarded for penalties (40%), style (40%) and 'time closest to optimum' (20%). So you see, the consistent round with a cheap rail will beat the wild and crazy clean round every time! There will be ribbons for each group, and prizes for the top score at each level.
Riders may compete in the Jumping Derby even if not USEA members; a nonmember fee will be owed in this case. Also, riders in the Derby do not pay the USEA Starter and Drug&Meds fees.
Entry forms that can be filled in, printed and mailed are available here for your use. These forms are interactive (type from computer). ON grounds stalls are limited, so enter early to secure this location. Please read the comments which will assist you in correctly completing the forms.
The following divisions will be offered, unless the numbers are too few to support the division:
