Eventing in Today's Economy!

As everybody knows the economy continues to impact every aspect of our lives, and will probably be one of the main factors to consider when you make out your competition schedule for 2009. There has already been some fallout from this, with some events either canceled or considering whether to do so. USEA Article

Please send your entries to those events you plan to attend as quickly as is manageable after Opening Date. We are all in the same financial boat, and the events cannot allocate the money to make these events happen if they have no idea how many riders will actually attend. It is tough out there, and we appreciate your continued support.

Let's hope our favorite event venues survive and prosper in the future!

I hate to ask this question, but with today's economy, I must! If I enter on opening day and there are not enough entires to run, is there a full refund?

Each event will have its own policy. By rule, the rider is guaranteed a refund less office fee before Close. Some events have "no refund for cancellation" policies, while others offer refunds or credit for the next event. We will solicit more input from our organizers on this.
