Attention: Riders and Friends! The future use of Masterson Station Park in Lexington as a free public use equine venue may be at risk. Competing public uses for this valuable public property place pressure on the local government to curtail the equine functions there. Clinics, competitions, Pony Club camps, riding lessons and casual use by riders from all over the area are now allowed. The Masterson Equestrian Trust (MET) is dedicated to the preservation and improvement of the park, and has asked all of us to complete a short online survey so they have hard data to present to the Parks Board. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey. All results are due by March 20, 2008, and only one survey can be filed from each computer station. After completion of the survey this link becomes invalid from the same computer connection. If there are multiple riders in your family who wish to complete a survey, we suggest you ask to use a friend's computer or one at your local library or other resource, so that these results will be valid.
