I second the well-stated prior comments of N. Mazzoni, but a bit stronger, as I too would hate to lose the wonderful opportunity we have to school at the KHP because of someone who thinks the rules don't apply to them. I hope this does not cause the park to cancel the rest of the schooling days. Those who call themselves 'horse people' but yet act so irresponsibly and do not recognize the liability of such actions are not professional horsepeople and are a danger to the rest of us. I no more want them on a cross country course with me than I want a drunk driver on the road with me. I don't know what the reasons were for this incident and it doesn't matter, because it clearly was a conscious decision made by someone, and there is no excuse. |
