Regretfully we must announce that the Educational Training Three Day Event will not be held at Mayfest Horse Trials this year, 2005. After meeting with the Kentucky Horse Park staff and looking at the very tight schedule for the park's spring of 2005, it became apparent that the logistics of hosting the Training Three Day were too difficult to overcome at this time. Areas of the park that have we have used in the past will be unavailable this spring and the lead time needed for set up and preparation will be diminished.
We would like to extend our most heartfelt thanks to those who have made the Training Three Day the success it is. The coaches and professionals, the volunteers and the riders all were invaluable in making it happen. Mayfest Horse Trials will continue as planned and we hope that the Training Three Day might again be part of the event in future. | |
