| NAJYRC Coming to the Kentucky Horse Park | |

The USEF announced on Feb 5 that they have received preliminary approval from the FEI to host the 2009 North American Junior/Young Rider Championships July 22-26 at the premier horse facility in the US, the Kentucky Horse Park.
We congratulate the USEF on their choice of venue, which will have undergone a complete renovation and redesign by this spring in advance of the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. Congratulations also to local organizer/instructor/MSEDA President Mary Fike, who has been tapped as the Organizer for the Eventing portion of the NAJYRC. Mary has years of experience in event organization which she will bring to the table, as well as an intimate knowledge of the Horse Park. This makes her uniquely qualified to organize this prestigious event. The USEF and USEA will provide many more details in the upcoming months, and we encourage all Junior and Young Rider candidates to make plans now to point toward this exciting competition.
