Attention: Competitors!
The KY Horse Park will charge two fees for access to the show grounds during competition beginning this season. Each passenger vehicle must display a Parking Pass, purchased at the Main Gate into the Park. Prices are $3/day or $5/entire duration of an event; or $25 for a yearly seasonal pass. In addition, a new Grounds Permit will be required for each horse trailer or van that is used for daily exhibitors who are not stabled in the permanent stabling (haul-in riders). These passes will be sold through the Event Show Office until the KHP gets a new Stabling Gate constructed. The fee for 2007 is $20/each day of competition, or $75 for a yearly seasonal sticker. The day passes will have the date affixed, and will be checked on each day. The KHP plans to use the funds to support the additional grounds maintenance required in the Day Parking areas and to construct a new Day Parking area with improved lighting and other facilities. All fees collected are payable to the KHP. The various events will not benefit directly from these charges. | |
